When I was told the title of Best Bondage Erotica 2011, I'll admit I had a healthy dose of trepidation course through my skeptical mind. The term "best" tends to raise my eyebrows without fail, particularly since I've seen the best some have to offer and been sorely disappointed. I struggled to finish this book. It seems I'm in the minority, but this was a frustrating read for me. The heroine was, well, stupid...and mean. You've probably read all the other reviews so I'll go to the part that made the book a not to be read again.

He took another woman in front of her, his perfect blood slave and had full s*x with her to the point of release. That my friends is the biggest no no in paranormal romance unless you've set it up so its ok. In this instance her transgression was to go a few feet down the stairs away from their room. No Big Deal IMO. He decided that she was to watch him take the other woman as punishment.

In PNR its ok for the lead guy to have s*x with others 'before' he takes the main gal. It's even ok if he plays around the edges of the other females even after taking main character. But unless you set up the world like in Jaid Black where the alpha males have 100's of s*x slaves and s*x is always on the table (and everywhere else) then you can't just throw in infidelity. Even in Blacks "Enslaved" books once the warrior take been inside the female he physically...

A Very Naughty Xmas is an anthology of 5 short stories written by Olivia Cunning, Cherrie Lynn, Cari Quinn, Raven Morris and Stephanie Julian. I bought this book because 2 of my favorite authors, Olivia and Cherrie have stories in here that are part of their series. Olivia has a prequel to the One Night with Sole Regret series, and Cherrie has a great story from the Ross Siblings/Leather and Lace series.

Let me start by saying this book should be renamed "A Very Porny Xmas". Naughty is way too mild for this book! This was DIRTY. In fact one story was so dirty I felt like I needed to wash my phone after (I read on my phone). You guys know I love me some smut. But darn....there is smut and there is porn.
